Kroger: Saved 63% Using Printable Coupons

This was definitely a strange-looking shopping trip for me. I stocked up last week, so we didn’t need much grocery-wise. I just wanted to take advantage of the Kroger 10 Item Mega Event. So I made a quick lunch hour stop with a fistful of printable coupons. Here’s what I got.

Spent: $27.24
Saved: $46.30 (63%)

Used 2 $.50 off  Cottonelle Toilet Paper, 4 pk + (IE) or Printable (FF) (doubled to $1.00 off)

Gala Apples – $2.50

I had one $1.00 off catalina from last week to go with my printable coupons. I also made one more quick stop on the way home for milk and a rotisserie chicken. (Didn’t want those sitting in the car after my lunch hour!) But that’s it for us this week!

Good question, Marilyn! This depends on your store. I recommend calling them ahead of time to find out what their store policy is. I shop at CVS, Kroger, and Rite Aid most often, and I use a black-and-white printer. I’ve never had any trouble at those stores or at Target. If you’re shopping somewhere else, it would be worth calling before you start printing.

do printable coupons have to be in color? and can you expired coupons?

    Thanks,
    Marilyn
