CVS: Couldn’t Resist a Second Trip

CVS lured me in today with a $4 off $20 email coupon. I only bought $11 worth of P&G products earlier this week, so I wanted to finish off the $10 ECB deal. Here’s what I ended up with.

Starting ECBs: $7.99
Merchandise Value: $21.98
Out-of-Pocket Cost: $7.49 plus tax
Ending ECBs: $16.00

Bought:
1 Charmin Bath Tissue (16 double rolls) – $10.00
4 Puffs Tissues – $4.00
2 Revlon Nail Polish – $7.98

Coupons:
-$4.00 off $20.00 purchase CVS email coupon
-$0.25/1 Charmin Bath Tissue 10/10/2010 P&G Insert
-$0.25/3 Puffs 9/26/2010 P&G Insert
-$1/1 x 2 Revlon 9/12/2010 SS Insert

Out-of-Pocket Cost: $7.49 plus tax
ECBs Earned:  $16.00 ($10 P&G, $6 Revlon)

@Cheryl @ Simply CVS, We don’t decorate for halloween either. I got that coupon and used it for a strand of purple lights. I’m going to try them out on my Christmas tree this year. Not sure how they will look but I’m hoping they will add a neat punch of color.

I hadn’t thought about tea lights! I got that coupon today too and kind of disregarded it. Great idea!!

  4. CVS is tempting. I went again today to get another $5 scanner Halloween coupon. We don’t decorate for Halloween but we found some non-flame tea lights for inside jack-o-lanterns and they work just fine in our little glass votives.
